Hay man how are ya im from nz but have been liveing in aus for 2 years now. never had a 32 over there but got one when i moved to oz.

ya can not go wrong with the 32 ya 4door looks F##KING HOT my missis is in to the skyline seen as well and we are looking at geting one as well. The drive way will look good with an r32 2 door and a 4door in it.

lmao now that i have had a big chat lol good on ya keep up the good work.....

ps wat part of nz ya from i lived in thames just over from aucks

True well nice to meet you, i live in Auckland on the North Shore and love it, the performance car scene in New Zealand has grown alot in the last few years, there are alot of nice cars over here now.

Yeah this is my second skyline, i wrote the first one off a 2 door GTST with mags and kit and then got paid out by insurance company and thought well no one over ever does up 4 door's so then i started my next project and here she is RESPWN - i enter in the shows and enjoy going on meaningless crusses to palmerston North and even to the south island with some of my mates.

if anything happens to this baby i am going for a R32 GTR, infact i have been thinking about changing this 4 door to a 4WD so basically putting a GTR running gear into it. Will be interesting when i get all the quotes back.

My misses is also into cars but no so much skylines :) she is a RX7 fan and buying on next week also doing it up for show, i am deffenetly not a MAXDA fan as i dought anyone on this site is lmao but anyhow atleast it wont be going wank wank wank wank down the street, also as i will be the one organising the custom fabrication and everything for it, but yeah x2 R32 in a drive that sounds really good [drooooool] >_<

Anyway keen in touch in April i am comming over to Auss for the whole month with my girl - hence why i wanted to find a Aussie web site so i could make some friends and hopefully meet a few of you and be takin out so i can see what the scene is like over there, even though i will be there mainly for the parties and piss :P

Regards,

Andrew

o yerrr clubs go off on the gold coast i live just up from it.

im also in the batmo rx7 looking at geting one of them as well when the price drops in about 10 years and keep the 32 as well.

so do you have any engine mods to the car would be good to see pix

Yeah i ahve engine mods, my car is actually in the shop at the momment gettin all the engine done ;)

Should be out any day - this is what i have just had done to it, have not had her on the road for almost 2 months now.

Engine/Performance

RB25DET - front mount intercooler, Blitz BOV, Oil catch tank, Custom intake piping and intercooler pipping, POD Filter, Front and rear Strat brace, Tein fully Adjusties, 3inch straight through mandral bent Exhaust with 4inch RPS tip, To4e Turbo, top mount rb25det manifold, Tial style 38mm wastegate, 500HP Walbro Fuel pump and fuel pressure Regulator, Custom front facing Intake plenium, Power FC ECU, and Battery moved to the boot.

Yeah i have spent enougth on her now lol - only going to do a few more little things to it and then she will be done, Should be 300kw at rear when she comes out of the shop - well when she is tuned lol :)

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
