hey, i've recently taken out my wolf 3d v.4 to install a dr.drift remap on my r32 gtst (wasnt happy with the wolf). Now this is where all the trouble starts. The ecu doesnt seem to read that the z32 is hooked up and runs comletely rich when started. The wiring has been triple checked to make sure everything is where its suppose to be, have swapped with a brand new z32 and plug (still no go), changed the crank angle sensor (sam believes wolf tuners do weird things with it), tried 3 different ecu's which came out of another car and have checked and fixed loom wiring (things were moved around).

Has anyone got any idea of what else it could be? any feedback would be appreciated. cheers!

is the ecu mapped to suit the z32 yet? if not then i don't know if that would cause a problem. what is it doing that makes you think it is running rich? if it is poping and farting then it is running lean, not rich.

if it isn't reading the afm it won't idle, or if it does it will hunt really bad (sound like it has the lumpiest set of cams you have ever heard).

was the map sensor hose from the wolf blocked when the wolf was removed?

actually havent tried blocking the map sensor hose! But yes, the map on the ecu has been suited to the z32. It was just pissing out black smoke and basically fouled my plugs.

*Edit: just checked with Sam, and yes he did block the hose. We think it may be the actually wires that connect the ecu to the afm as we've tried changing both sides and still the computer keeps receiving an error message.
