I've been pulled over (not in the line) for a faulty brake bulb and given a warning, they were probably pissed at him for no rego, they tend to take a dim view of ppl who drive unregoed.

And so they should! Far too many people do it, and think its alright. Its just not.

yeah ur plate def needs to be straight not sloped back even having it to the left or rite on the edge of the bumper is no good either thats not visible by cameras aswell...u want to stop getting hassled over it get a slimline one and stick it where it should be in the middle on the top of the bumper.

had mine on the side and got warned once was enuf for me to get a slim line and put it where it is clearly visible in the middle .

How does that work? Evo 6's came out with the number plate mount built into the left side of the front bar, specifically to free up airflow to the intercooler

      Depending on what communications the iPad/Phone uses to get data from the car (say OBD2) you will likely find it might be a bit slow, and miss little blips of sudden things, like a sudden oil pressure drop. However, if the BMW purely has CANBus data expressed on the port, and you're app is listening to the data natively, then the only other issue will be Bluetooth latency, which if you don't have too many things open, won't be terrible.

      I'm about 5 days into my first Skyline (S1 R33 25T. Smiles for miles! Adapting to rhd was weird but not bad with 20 years of mannys. Driving my previous car already feels unfamiliar lol. Looks like you guys have tons of data here and I've already learned a bit. The history thread was a good read. Looking forward to asking questions and contributing where I can. -Adam

      Guys and what about hybrid turbo? Is it "ok" and can i get it here(EU/CZE) done? Or do you need some "special" "wheel" or something?

      Yeah nice idea, you mean to suction it to the gauges? I hadn't thought of that.
