engine-

-modified 4g62 pistons

-running 11.4:1 compression!

-ported head with 4age valve springs

-perfectly balanced and will rev all day long

-standard radiator - does not overheat. ever.

-race cam

-bored to 1490cc

-grout filled block

-new custom race clutch

-modified aftermarket carby

-made 90rwhp (befor carby was modded) & rivals 4age's

exhaust

-brand new ported extractors with 2.5 inch exhaust into a stainless muffler & cannon tip, (sounds amazing on idle and absolutely screams at high revs . intimidating)

suspension

-siera rear shocks ford au rear springs, sw20 front shocks & springs. car is solid to the ground with no body roll. dont want to name drop but is what yates used to run in his sprinter.

drivline

-5speed 4k box has stood up to all the punishment i could throw at it so its solid & it also comes with a spare 5 speed box in perfect condition

-locked bog warner diff no leaks or noises brakes at rear are drum but the locks beter than any other hand brake i hav used ( best handbrake in the world!!)

body & interior

-interior is semi stripped no back seats

-has honda civic seats that hug quite well

-comes with custom front bar off a sprinter one of a kind an completley confuses everyone as to what the hell you are driving

-body is in fair cond a few lil dints couple of patches of rust, nothing that any other rolla or sprinter of this age hasent got

rims

-full set of bathurst globe replicas 15x8 negative 9 offset (very dishy). Got 2 14s without tires to go with

To drive it, it feels like a new car, super responsive on the throttle especially at higher revs and everything just feels tight.

I drove the car for about 2 and a half hours before it dropped a welsh plug so i had it fully rebuilt with the block re-machined and linished, brand new shotpeened pistons. Everythings been done right with no expense spared. Has done less than 2000kms on the new motor and have already done three oil changes using synthetic run in oil and fully synthetic on the other two.

Has done one drift day (OP skid pan day) and absolutely rocked my socks off. Am selling as i have always wanted a HR31 and a good mate of mine happens to be selling an immaculate RB25 number that i would love to own.

Looking for $4000. if i dont get that i wont sell it and re-shell it and make it an immaculate streeter.

Actually, will sell for $3500 with stocko rims as the globes on there are the bullsh!t and would love to keep em.

      I would think making the argument that the travel is limited by a spring flexing against a spring perch as "the same method". Later on in the document they do state that the spring can't bind on full bump travel and cannot come loose in full rebound travel as well. (which is all very sensible). The laws are actually pretty sensible and reasonable. It's just that the people who enforce and check them don't actually read them or know them accurately. "Oh, coilovers? Instant fail mate. Don't even need to look at it." - Guy who will be instantly reported by me. There is probably merit to people who do get defected for height also get defected for the suspension in that state that allows it. I did never consider the people who are complaining about coilovers being picked on are also running around at 50mm off the floor.

      I think given SAU's knowledge of E85 we can strongly conclude that 10% ethanol in almost any situation is entirely fine. Almost all of the myths against E85 were overblown, let alone E10.

Meh 5.2 Suspension travel In all instances, modifications to a vehicle’s suspension must ensure the integrity of the system and not compromise the ride quality. At least two thirds of the original suspension travel should be maintained in both directions (rebound (i.e. extension) and bump (i.e. compression)), and rebound must be limited by the same method used by the vehicle manufacturer or if this is not practicable due to the nature of the modification, an equivalent method. If an alternative method is used, evidence must be available that its functional performance is equivalent to the original.

      They actually don't - They adhere to VSB14 rules just like Victoria. The rules are against CABIN adjustable height, and it quite clearly states that the height has to be within parameters. I asked the VASS engineer to confirm this when I got my car engineered and they refused to engineer the coilovers because they didn't meet the requirements for requiring engineering. (mine are height adjustable.) People "Not wanting to bother" with "Actually reading/knowing/adhering to the rules" should result in fines and immediately losing the ability to issue blue slips and/or RWC's in Vic.
