East Bear will definately be pricey,.. but it's going to fit alot better than a cheaper alternative.

Wayne J; I know how it is being in two minds about LED tail lights, I've definately considered it, ... the stock ones do look a bit dated, but they will always look tough as,... whereas the LED's just look "pretty".

True. Sometimes they're a little too "bling" for me, certain ones anyway.

My stock tailight lenses look a little dull/faded, as do the (rather useless) reversing lights.

I have some plastic polish and might try to revive them a little when I get the time.

Hey that reminds me - I've noticed that some 34's seem to have one reverse light clear and the other is red (or has a red globe)??? What's that about, anyone know?

Here's a perfect example:

Cheers,

GTR's are ALL like that with the reversing light and the fog light.

Also, SOME GTTs had that, including mine, but I'm the only GTT I know that had this option. I think it was included in the "snow" kit on mountain cars which also includes heated side mirrors and heated windscreen wiper pads to keep the wipers from freezing onto the windows.

Thanks Bass Junky for the explanation! :P

the fog light i remember someone saying a while ago was an optional for the GT-Ts.

Sheng/q looks good :( rims are a bit small though.

a cold day or something? Everyone in the background has their arms crossed.

I have one discoloured reverse light.

When I purchased my car, the only other GT-T in the lot had the same light (left hand side) discoloured, so I wondered if it was a common fault as in not sealed properly. It's quite annoying, however I havn't had the guts to do the whole baking in the oven, polishing, and resealing thing yet,.... I'm a newbie when it comes to DIY. I dread when the time comes where I'll have to polish up the headlights.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
