Any update on the pics? I am a little interested.

yeh. semi interested too..

What was wrong with the offset?

I would be looking to put them on an R32.

So if the offset was too high for you. they would definately be too high for me.

so let me know

Cheers

  • 2 weeks later...

hey guys, sorry about the lack of updates (LAZY) :ninja:

these are still for sale....

anyone still interested in them will have to post their email address and ill send some pics to ya

price still stands at $1500. remember these are 'brand new never had tyres fitted' rims.

as NickR33 said they will not fit an r33 gtst and do stick out of the guards

so please check if these suit your car before inquiring as i have NFI what car these suit

bought from jdm concept a few weeks ago, i still have the invoice with me.

cheers....................Dan

the 18x8 +28 is what WORK themselves recomend for the front of an R33 gts-t

the 18x9 should be +38 to suit the rear of a skyline. not +30

If you bought them from JDM concept....why dont you see if they trade the +30 rears you have for the +38's you need? did they tell you they'd fit? if so they should be happy to help you get the right ones.

an S15 needs +38 for 18x8 fronts and +43 for 18x9 rears (in this particular rim)

Awesome rims Alva, Im looking into a set of these right now for mine (with correct offsets :ninja: ) best of luck

update: I was just looking on the work-wheels.co.jp website....it doesnt seem that +30 in a 9 inch wide XD9 isnt even available, sure you just havent read wrong? and it says +38 ( maybe the 8 looks like a 0) ? have you tried fitting them?

the stickers inside the rears definately says +30

i have fitted them and they stick out as i said. fronts are fine

when i looked at the website before i bought them it did say +30 for the r33gtst

Alva, the only thing iv'e found the 18x9 +30 to suit is in the XD9's:

Nissan Z33 (300zx) fronts

Nissan V35 (350Z?) fronts

Both suggesting 18x10 +38 rears

(might be worth trail fitting them on the front of your ride just to see how they fit?)

these are the rims he's talking about people.....he said there brand new so wont look much different. Google is an amazing thing really....

These will fit a 34GTT nicely with a bit of stretched rubber on the rears and lowered. Remember, stock R34 GTR rims are 18x9 +30 and these have been known to fit 34gtts.

Are these wheels brand spanking new never had tires on? Please email pics of actual wheels to [email protected]

Still says that +30 is suited for R33 Gts-t rears:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=150780

its not. +38 fits perfect...+30 will stick out about 5-8mm.

I have work rims... +38 on the rear. +30 might be ok for a GTR.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
