Staffo
Got an annoying problem with my brake lights. It seems that the switch is nearly dead and the brake lights are staying on after I exit the car. I was able to give it a quick tap and they would turn off but it seems now that they are coming back on on there own accord as when I went to start the car tonight to come to work I had a nice dead battery. My question is will any auto electricin be able to replace the switch or do I need to source one from some where first? About how much would I expect to pay? Thanks in advance Josh Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/156290-need-help-with-brake-light-problem/ Share on other sites
Craved
they are usually straight forward to replace, you will need to source one from nissan as a replacement Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/156290-need-help-with-brake-light-problem/#findComment-2904190 Share on other sites

Craved
no idea on costs, but the switch itself is fairly simple design - may even be compatable with one from a locally supplied model of nissan that you can get cheap replacement for Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/156290-need-help-with-brake-light-problem/#findComment-2904202 Share on other sites

blind_elk
I thought you could adjust the position where the switch makes contact with the brake pedal.
