I have got some quotes for a bodykit for me R33.

VIVA GARAGE has come back as one of the cheapest.

Has anyone bought any kits from them? what was the quailty any good? And what was th fitment lik?

Im looking at side skirts, front and rear bar and fenders.

Any opinions on them?

i've bought a kit from them before that had to be modified to fit properly and my friends have bought kits from them and none have directly fitted on.

All of them have required some sort of modification, i guess....you get what you pay for

With bodykits you almost always get what you pay for.

Cheap kits almost NEVER fit directly on, they require lots of modification to fit, and you end up paying way more to get it fitted and painted, which makes up for the price of the kit in the long run.

Also cheap kits are made from thin fiber and are flimsy & break easily.

Spend the money on a good kit and you wont have to spend the money on making it fit properly.

I have not ever heard of a kit from vivagarage that has fitted straight on.

What style of kit were you after?

never heard today how they went with my guards, ill call em tommorow. All i know is that they said they were a little worried about the material they are made out of, the fibreglass, so they were going to bake them first to strengthen them? something like that

well front guards dont fit too nicely after all. Crash repairer thinks he can reshape them a bit and make them fit but said its time consuming and mite not be perfect..

did u go back to VIVA and see what they said about it?

oh im not complaining either by the way. I love the front guards they got me, and i got them cheaper than what they originally quoted and whats listed on their website. My crash repairer reckons he can alter them with a bit of heat and cutting and they should fit nice.

Just mite take longer than originally thought and a bit more labour but all good with me.

The guy at viva in the city was really helpful and got them in straight away for me, no waiting etc. He said that if they didnt fit, he would gladly refund me anyway

Ok may as well add the latest update..

Guards got fitted today so i went down to check em out. Both guards are a slightly different shape, bit rounded so they dont line up nicely, but my crash repairers are awesome and have been mucking around with them all day, shaving bits off and adding some etc. Doesnt look 100 perfect but is still pretty good. Bit of a gap between door and back of guard, but im ok with that.

i bought sideskirts from viva and had them fitted and painted. I decided after 1 minute of picking the car up that they were goin in the bin .... as they did 3 weeks later. Absolute crap completely different and when i rang them to see what their policy was they were very unhelpful and would not come to the party with a refund. I put a set of origon skirts on and they are not perfect either but 200% better than viva. A good word will never leave my mouth about them.

Good luck with the gaurd Flick, hope it works out

    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
