lol... i love it how Drifting is pretty much the only 'sport' (i use that term loosely) out at QR, short of major events like the V8's, that charge an admission fee... bwahahah

whether you like it or not that just goes to show that people enjoy it and are willing to pay the money, despite the fact it isn't free it pulls a decent crowd unlike the other events. The entertainment factor is there and this means it is going to ahead in leaps and bounds

don't get me wrong Anna, i'm not saying i wouldn't go out there to watch/do some photography work, all i'm saying is that i just find it a bit silly that they charge an entry fee, when they could 'grow' the sport so much more by having more spectators etc if they abolished the entry fee...

Zennon try a caryard and ask them about the ones that they are throwing out. Thats what i do....you end up with some hard tyres....easier to slide ...and a little less smoke but good to start with.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
