illusiVe
Just installed monday.. anyway heard this rattle/scraping noise on the way home from the back of the car, thinking maybe the top bolts were bit loose or something for the coilover, took the wheel off and saw this lovely sight: The 1st pic is of the coilover with a nice flat spot (from the wheel) The 2nd pic is of the wheel with this nice shiny line going alll the way around. Anyway running 255's on the rear, had no problems with the factory shocks + 2" lowered king springs. who knows how to fix before my new coils are stripped (...besides getting new rims with different offsets) thanks in advance! - right section this time! BHDave
How low is it now? Id suggest an adjustable upper arm or bushes to correct the usual rear camber issue when the car is lowered and bring camber back into the <1 degree range. Then look at a 2mm slip on spacer if that doesn't fix it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/167599-coilovers-are-rubbing-against-my-wheel-insides-ouchies-over-bumps/#findComment-3101081 Share on other sites

Firstly, What car, what width and offset wheels are u running? Spacers will probably fix ur coil rubbing problem but unless we know what width and offset ur running, you might end up rubbing the guards after fitting spacers?? Might have to get a new wheel in the end..
