munro'sgts-t
ok so my standard clutch isnt likeing my new power level (180rwkw) but this has to be expected as its 14 years old anyways. but my problem is that i am currently in the stages of building an rb25/30 im looking to make about 300rwkw with loads of tourqe and i was going to go with a jim berry (full monty clutch set up the single plate one) but my new motor setup wont be going till about the end of the year. at the moment it just slips at the hint of shifitng harder over about 4000rpm and even jus tnormal driving i cant feel it sliping but every time i stop i can smell it not good. should i just fork out for a jim berry clutch now or wait till my new engines built wil my stocko clutch last till then with easy driving? do any of you have any other sujestions for a clutch that will be up to the task of the new motor set up ? any help would be greatly appreciated Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172458-clutch-dramas/ Share on other sites
Trav33
If it was me, i'd take this opportunity to get the clutch you want for your long-term solution - dont waste money on something you are likely to upgrade in 12 months time.
