Hi Guy's I just bought an Apexi AVC-R and I was wondering if any of you guy's know whats the best place to get it installed and bout how much would it cost?

Also Im saving at the moment for a front mount cooler so I was thinking maybe I should get the avc-r installed after so then i can set a good boost level like 13psi and get a dyno tune, all round the same time.

Or doesn't it matter, just install it now and tune later with the cooler?

Thanks

Mark

i dont have a clue aboutmuch when it comes to cars but it aint that hard cause i installed my boost guage, pulled apart the front end of the car and installed the bleed valve.... just follow the inctructions.

AVC-R is a bit harder to install than a boost gauge or bleed valve!

after seeing it being done its pretty easy.... wiring is too easy. for the solenoid, 1 goes to the actuator on your tarbin and the other goes to the pressure line... in my case, the pressure line was tapped into one of the carbon cannister lines.

when you get it going, make sure you set the duty cycle at aboot 40% so you dont boost to 2bar or something....unless your tarbin can handle it.... :(

    • Rust repairs completed, doors back on! pretty much totally back together running now. All future repairs will be fiddly wiring getting everything back up to road condition.  hasn’t  taken that long considering the condition I got the sub. note my helpers keeping the back seat warm 😂
