Hey Guys,

just changed my plugs to NGK Platinums, with a 1.1mm gap (yes I know it should be .8)

the car has commodore coil packs and 8mm eagle leads.

the car was running fine before i changed the plugs now, since ive changed then the car is missfireing like hell, at all revs.

ive double checked that all the leads are on the right plugs and played with the PFC ingnition timeing, ive advanced and retarded the timing by upto 14degrees to no avail.

Do I have a dodgy plug or is there to much gap on the electrodes? the old plugs have fu<k all gap on them, like .5mm maybe?

Help me?!?!

Andrew.

So you had .5mm on the old plugs.

And now 1.1 ... I reckon you have a coil problem. One or more is faulty.

If you have to run a .5mm gap, then you definately had a problem, and now its just more clear as you have the gap further out.

Whats the setup? Just stock turbo and a bit more boost?

Because 1.0 - 0.8 should be perfectly fine.

Have you tested the coils?
