Whether or not the will clear your calipers depends a lot on the spoke design as well as the offset. 17x8+30 should fit with un-modified guards, if you have the car quite low, you may have to lip the guards slightly.

On a 17x8, it's pretty hard to go overboard stretching so if you really want stretch, go find the skinniest tyre you can get.

Should get some pretty interesting stretch with a 205/40R17 if that's what you're after. Yes that is a Lancer size, and yes its load index is far too low for a skyline and you've got bugger all rubber on the ground, but people that want heaps of stretch dont seem to care about any of this...

    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 馃榾
