phenline Posted June 28, 2007 Share Posted June 28, 2007 hi, i opened my sunroof on a small trip i just took and i got home in the drive tried to close it and it wont budge wont even move no noise no nothing. Is this a fuse? if so where is the fuse for the sunroof held? cheers any help would be good as it is rainy at the moment. car is a series2 r33 btw . made_guy Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 i think there is a winder that you can access that is POSSIBLY under the 'surround' of the electrical switches for the sunroof. I THINK! i'm at work btu i remember seeing somethign about it in my owners manual. think ti winds with an allenkey thingo...? Do you think it would be ssafe to wind it back ? would it effect the motor after i get ti working again? Cheers! made_guy Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 f*ck! sorry about the late reply - i forgot about it.... anyway here's what the manual says: 1. go to the vehicles tool kit and retrieve the sunroof crank handle (this looks like an allen key - not sure what size though) 2. remove the outer switch cover with a screwdriver (this is the plastic bit with the switches and light) 3. Place the Crank handle in the port hole and turn clockwise to close the sunroof.
