My headlights seem to be aiming higher than they should and i get all these ppl high beaming me...so damn annoying

Need help on how to adjust the light beam to aim lower.

Had a look at the front headlight assembly but cant find any screws to adjust the angle. Can see 2 white cogs teeths on the headlight assembly which when turned either way does not change a thing.

Cant find much on the g35 forums as well....Im hoping I dont need to take the whole light assembly off to adjust it..

HI mate, What kink of high light you have , the standard or 06 project?

I think I can help you with that, I install my one by my self and adjust it.

easy job

Hi, I've got standard xenon 2003 coupe headlights.

yeh,

First park your car on a flat surface against a flat wall during dark.

1, Open hook.

2, start from radiator to both left and right side. above the headlight, you can see two holes, the close front one is for low beam.

3, use a screw driver dive into the hole, put the head of driver between the mental teeth and a small piece of mental.

3, the mental teeth wil match the screw driver , so do not used the flat head.

4, turn around the driver, you will see the headlight go up and down.

unitl get your prefer level.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
