Yeah like mentioned closed where hole in the road is... i used this arvo to get home from erina and i get on f3 at gosford and get off at the first exit can't remember what its called but its the one straight after you up the huge hill lol.

But lots of pol pol patrolling it now, even during the week i've seen a few... today was nuts sore like 3 cop motorcycles and 2 hwy patrol - spose with the f3 being a stand still they had nothing better to do.

I still think they should turn it into a one way touge course and charge a fee per run. I'd pay $10 a run to belt up the Old Pac at full steam! ;)

If only......

The locals would bitch and moan if you did that, even if you cut them in on the fee. They were probably the biggest force behind getting Race to the Pie cancelled, even though there's no houses on that hillclimb between Mooney and Pie in the Sky.

Yep they like to bitch, my dad rides the ol pac on his bike all the time and last school hols (hes a TAFE teacher) he got pulled over 5 times in 3 days for random "rbts" - the locals apparantly don't like the noise of bikes too early in the morning ;) .... although late Monday & Tuesday nights is good for a clear run.... not speeding of course :)

Seems much easier these days to do Spencer and wisemans rd :D

    • I know -_- Oddly enough I went to a car show this weekend and not a single person made any mention of Nitrous... I did have to argue with a know it all that was convinced I had an RB26 head with HKS V-Cam as opposed to a regular VCT RB25 head, but what do I know. I think my HKS oil cap was throwing him off.
    • That seems like a lot more work than just using a second jack under a front tow hook to raise it enough to get another jack under it.
    • They're wonderful when only used to lift your car up an inch so a real jack fits under your front lip. Besides that, I've only ever used them on the side of the road.  We call them widow makers here.  Unfortunately, like I mentioned in another post, ramps are not an option for me due to generally working on my car once my kids are asleep. Cold starts, 4" exhaust and sleep rarely go well together. I honestly find using ramps a hell of a lot more work than what I'm currently doing anyways.
    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
