Who the F*ck are you and why have you brought your soap box here?

Did I ever say that I was the worlds best driver? No... This is simply for pointing out the people on the road who make us laugh because of how hard they try.

No matter what you drive you can be pointed at and laughed at by someone, there will always be many different people with many different likes and dislike.

I'll bet that if you went onto the Commodore or Falcon forums you would find a thread about Skyline and Silvia "Losers" or "ricers", its called friendly competition... Deal with it or dont post here.

Oh and by the way, if you see me on the Monaro in the morning going over 100km then you probably see the other 1000+ cars that are going the same speed and Im sure that you would have done it more than once, so dont get all high and mighty mate.

I think youre in the wrong place... Play nice or leave.

I want to know what he drives. He has an LS2, so Im guessing Commonwhore.

Get over yourself buddy.

from the Nissan Silvia thread, possibly a police commonwhore lol

It doesnt matter who or what you are, you dont just join a forum for enthusiasts of a car type that you dont own, or are not passionate about in any way and just start causing trouble.

Who does that?... Seriously, get a life.

*ignores drama :(*

I used to own a skyline, and want another one - it that enough to hang out here????? ;)

I do like the V8 though its a 2002 SS - its got mild work done, and to be fair it'd hold it own against the more stocker Skylines.... My old GTS-T would have kicked the cr%p out of it. So imagine that'll happen at some stage :)

It weighs heaps, and doesn't compare around corners.... at all.

I do like the whole muscle car thing though - its a different style, but its something. And it loves to hang its tail out :)

I resent being accociated with bogans - its just unfortunate they are allowed to buy ss's.

I wasn't going to post on this because over the last 3 weeks or so, I haven't had any bad run in's with anyone.

that was until today at lunch.

Don't know if it's racism or just a bunch of idiots,

But Me and my work mate(both asian) while waiting to cross Althllon Drive, back from a late lunch at around 2:30pm ish.

Maroon Pulsar with a driver that looked like prince harry just 'honked' and stuck his middle finger up at me for no reason at all. Wasn't close to the curb, didn't even press the crossing button.

Talk about small things amusing small minds.

Thats f**ked man. I hate racists.

On another story, I actually got treated like a bogan the other day. See it all started when my friends AE86 wasnt going to be ready for the drift comp at Oran park. So bought a $350 EA Falcon and we stripped it and put a mini spool in. Whilst driving around chasing a few parts we were turning into Phillip from Athlon when a silver 32 GTR comes flying up behind us. So whilst we are looking and admiring this machine and we are in a Falcon, he thinks we are bogans laughing at him. So he gives us the finger and flys past us. We were pissed at first, but then realised we would have reacted the same way.

He shunted a wall at Oran park in a red EA Falcon if anyone was there. I wasnt :(

Haha Stephen just came into my work today in that Falcon and showed me the pics of him drifting it, big ups to him for being able to throw that great big piece of sh!t around! :domokun:

Sorry but I had to resurrect this thread up after the rain today...

Absolute moron in an auto underpowered multicolored sh!tbox vl whose complete value wouldn't be worth more than the petrol in it thought he'd be a wise ass and come flying down the hill and tailgate me through a school zone. Unphased by the idiot I drove normally, look back the mirror and the retard is swinging it 45 degrees side to side around the corner 1m behind my car then almost loses it so backs off then floors it to tailgate me. I drive slowly approaching the corner and not giving him the opportunity or room to do it again but he does, then tailgates me again.

Then the loser goes to overtake me on the right lane of the roundabout and when we are side to side he boots it and swings it out toward my car then floors it to 90 through the 60 zone. Oh and matey, if you even have the internet or any sort of insurance (..judged based on the car you were driving) you have no idea how hard I was hoping you would stack your pride and joy into a lightpost, Go find an oval or park somewhere you idiot.

Is it only just me and where I live or does everyone see a lot more of this sort of crap on the road when its wet?

My email hasnt been notifying me till now, so I didnt see these before.

Scott... you're going to have to start not using your middle finger to point at their cars while you're admiring their cars, they must be taking it the wrong way :D

So thats what ive been doing wrong and here i was thinking it was cos we looked like bogans happened to be drving a cooner. :)

Dude he drifts everything, yes, even his F100 (seriously). I reckon he could drfit a train given the chance.

The rain makes them come out during the day, but they usually come out at night, which i guess is better than them doing it during the day. I see some f**kin stupid driving at night, pretty funny when in the middle of some random suburb you find a fully sick hatchback wrapped around a pole and the driver and his mates standing there next to it, with him making out to the po po that it wasnt his fault, cos cars just magically go careering off the road and fully wrap around poles at 50kph. Or the ones that go straight through roundabouts cos they dont upgrade theyre brakes when they bolt a f**king huge turbo on to a NA VL. MORONS!!

  • 3 weeks later...

Spotted the biggest WANKER I have ever seen on the roads in Hawker around 8:30, some tool in a maroon R33 with big ugly chromies pulling ohmagawdsickuleh burnouts all over the road around other peoples cars IN THE WET including MINE WHILE I WAS DRIVING ACROSS THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING INFRONT OF THE IGA AND WENT CAREENING ACROSS THE LANE RIGHT NEXT TO ME. THIS SHIT IS NOT ON MORON. Then some moron in a crappy N14 pulsar comes ripping down the next street and slides into the entrance of the street I'm driving out of and scaring the hell out of me.

If the owner of the maroon 33 is on these forums - You, sir, are the biggest f**king tool I have ever seen, and it's dickheads like you that spread the stereotype about skyline drivers. The sooner you wrap your hectic burnout machine around a lightpost in Hawker the better.

Ever wondered what happens when you cross a rich tosser who cant drive with a $300,000 super car?

Apparently this happened in Dubai recently, after it rained...

More money than brains obviously, this was a single car accident that was apparently attributed to excess speed.

LOSER!

Keep in mind, the cops there might use the stats like they do in Oz.

If you crash in the wet in a 60km/h area, doing 40km/h... with no one else around, its attributed to you not slowing down enough to meet the conditions ... "due to speed"

Its how the government gets the stats about all the "speed related accidents" increasing the ability to get funding for more camera's - yay

Yeah, same things happened to me twice. Once by some knobs in a Black Holden Barina (or however you spell it) and the second time was by another tool in a Black Ute Commo. Both times were for no reason at all, or maybe it was racism? I'm Asian as well btw.

I think this thread needs life breathed back into it. I'd love to contribute with a recent story, but I'm not out there driving in the real world all that much. Surely, post SummerNuts, there's some stories to be told?

    • Next, remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, both are held with a spring clamp. While you are under there, tackle the Auto Trans cooler lines.  Again both are held on with spring clamps, and as mentioned above you should cap them on the radiator side with an 8mm cap, and on the car side loop them with a length of 8mm pipe - this will stop you losing a dangerous amount of AT fluid during the rest of the job If you've been meaning to add a sender for AT trans temp, this is a great time to do it; put a sender fitting into the passenger side line as that is the inlet to the cooler/radiator.
    • Next you need to remove the intake duct (as with pretty much every job on these cars), it is a series of clips you gently remove with a flat bladed screwdriver. They do get brittle with time and can break, and I have not found a decent quality aftermarket one that fits (they are all too soft or flimsy and don't last either) but the nissan ones are a couple of bucks each (ouch).  Once the clips are off (either 8 or 10, I didn't check) you lift the intake duct out and will see the reservoirs Undo the line into the radiator side cap (some bent needle nosed piers are awesome for spring clamps) and then remove the 4x 10m nuts that hold both in place.  I didn't get these pics, but remove the line under the radiator reservoir (spring clamp again) then remove that reservoir. Then you can get at the intake reservoir, same thing, spring clamp underneath then remove it. BTW This is a great time to put in a larger (+70%) combined reservoir that AMS makes..... https://www.amsperformance.com/product/q50-q60-red-alpha-coolant-expansion-tank/ They also make an Infiniti branded and part# version if that is your thing
    • To drain the Intake Heat Exchanger, there is a crappy drain plug in front of the driver's side front tyre: You should use the largest headed phillips screwdriver you had, and in my case I needed vice grips on the hose above as the plug was tight (tighter than it needed to be, since it has an o-ring seal).  After you have a tray down and open the drain, open the intake heat exchanger reservoir cap (drivers side one) and you should get a couple of litres of coolant To get to the radiator, you need to remove the plastic engine undertray. It is held on with a series of 10mm headed bolts and some clips. For the radiator, there is another type of crappy drain (kind of like a plastic banjo bolt) and you should attach a length of hose to direct the stream of coolant per this pic (otherwise the coolant hits the rad support and goes everywhere). The drain is on the rear of the radiator on the driver's side and a bit hard to find. Put a big tray or bucket down (5l won't be enough) and slowly unscrew the fitting by hand. You only want to remove it far enough for coolant to flow, it you unscrew it right out the whole fitting and direction pipe will come off and you will get a coolant bath (yum!). Undo the radiator reservoir cap and it should empty about 8l
    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You also need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator so you will need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. 2 other tools that really help dealing with coolant lines and spring clamps are Bent Needle Nose pliers Hose pliers Between them they will reduce the frustration (and injury) potential by about 1000% Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
