Bosch 040 Fuel Pump

ey guys just quickly... i am just about to go buy a bosch 040 fuel pump.... umm... just making sure.. i dirve a r33 skyline 93... all bosch 040 fuel pumps are the same arent they??.. or can u get specific ones for specic model cars.... cheers guys

No model specifics, all the same. You do realise they're nearly twice the diameter of the stock pump and painful to mount.

I'd say just get one of the walbro pumps of slide's, much easier to install, smaller than standard!

ahh!!!... i asked the guy just to make sure if it will fit.. he reckons may have to change a few things...but my tuner at RE customs just straight out said bosch 040... ill have a look at these walbro's though.. thanx for the help!!..

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying it harder with an 040 I know this because I got one in my car.

the 040 is fine. Although it'll sound a little louder but hey, you can never go wrong with bosch products.

During installation, one of the brackets in the fuel pump area will need to be cut shorter. Not a big hassle anyway and i'm sure Ray at RE will be able to sort that out.
