Another mate has recently bought himself a 370Z with a few mods. I'll be going for a spin in it shortly when it arrives :P

demand this friend to come to vilis this friday so i may inspect such a vehicle :P and bring that 35 back please nightcrawler or its ban time

haha, ill swallow my pride and buy you a beer if youre right :P

Haha, done deal......and if I'm wrong I'll buy!

The pics of the bunch are probably the 6.5 and the 8MR. The 5 RS is very highly regarded too, but because the RS models didn't have airbags, they can't be complied...

Here's my new daily driver (apologies for the hijack...)

didn't want to hijack the other thread so I moved it here......tell me more about that silver one Kristian.....right colour, right everything by the looks....which model is it? (not too familiar with the EVO's).

What sort of money would I be looking at for a 6.5 Tommy or an 8MR (whatever the MR is) to land here.......prefer low Km's and immaculate?

PM if you can't reveal too much here.

Is the silver one above everything that you expected it to be, ie, handling, power, interior styling/comfort etc......remember that I'm coming from a 34 V-Spec so I can't help comparing somewhat, although I'll try and be realistic.

NEWS FLASH

It's official.

For many many years, right back to when aeroplane jelly and vegemite were home grown, Cadburys has been king, but alas, no longer.

The newly crowned king of chocolate is:

Coles Belgium chocolate.......by a country mile.....and much cheaper!!

sits back and watches everyone log off to head to Coles

I've thrown membership forms to him for SAU:SA and told him about the SAU:SA dyno day. Hopefully we'll see it regularly :P

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
