$23000+ around i think? not sure, cuz the car is still in Japan, so I dont know how much more it would cost me for the compliance and shipping etc.

Got this car through a high school friend, he didn't charge me for the agent fee, so yeah, got lucky! but all thanx to him, saved me all the hassles!!

Hi mate first of all, congrats with the car.

But, I think you paid way too much for it. I could've easily got you a late 1997 series 3 R33 GT-R Vspec in immaculate condition with similar milage for way under 20k. Your one is just a Series 1 and the absence of the Vspec sticker could even mean that it's not a Vspec at all, it happens often. Make sure you check that it has the Vspec active diff with the active diff light on the cluster and Vspec suspension.

When it comes to making money, sometimes friends could be just like most people.

the only mod that I've got for my car is air pod, exhaust (no cat?! )and suspension...and yeah, even though it doesn't have the VSPEC sticker, I am pretty sure it's the vspec model, I've got the photo to prove it

btw, my friend is actually charging me 19800 AUD all up for everything, instead of 23000+ AUD

That car probably cost less than $14000 plus FOB or 'everything' of around $1000. All up in Japan should be around $15k or less.

It's also a good idea to get the timing belt replaced once you get it. From the photo it doesn't look like it has been replaced. The Japs usually put a sticker on the timing belt cover showing when it was changed after they've replaced the timing belt.
