What Is This Stuff On My Paint?!?!

looks like acid stain to me, generally what has happened is somethings eaten into your paint, the reason it isnt on your boot spoiler is it may have washed off in the rain before it soaked in whereas it sat on the boot and bonnet for too long causing what ou have. i re-painted a car not so long ago for a mate (actually it was the same coulor r33 but 94 model) with what looks like the same problem, it has to go right back to bare metal or it will bleed through in a couple of months

Well, machine buff today didn't do anything, so respray it is. Ah well, could be worse I guess.

Do you live near a cardboard box factory! It almost looks the same as what i've seen from the wax dip box plant. The wax gets int he air and settles and your car and leaves marks like that.

looks like bore water stains from someones irrigation. happened to my vl.... also could be your clear coats fading. lack of clear results in stains.
