Guest sir_GTR
"Subaru Australia say their new hero can manage 0 - 100 km/h in 5.25 seconds; Independent testing reveals more realistic low 6-second 0 - 100s. But critically, without a huge clutch-dumping launch, you're well up into the 7s." Cubes
Did you see how much the sucker weighs.. I can't remember exactly but its up around the 1500kg mark. With 197kw.. Bit like an Old VS V8 Commodore but with 4wd to suck some more power out of the drive. dAVE
here is a pic from one of our recent cruises. The STi took the mountain roads really well. It was taking recommended 50km/h corners at 140km/h.. without even sliding. I think I lost traction only twice all day, while even la_la (luke) got his gts4 sideways most corners. The STi was even with a slightly worked GTST... so its no rocket.. but as I said it has the traction advantage. also, its got a rice shift light which means it must be good Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/1973-my02-sti/#findComment-37041 Share on other sites
dAVE
and another.. i think it looks ugly in this pic.. also, forget to mention, that by the end of the day the brembo's and newish (5000km's) brake pads couldnt handle the pressure and decided to give up going down the mountain.. a bit scarey to say the least.
