First, a bit of history...

I have owned this car for nearly 2 years, but now have to sell it because ive just moved out of home.

I am the first owner in Australia.

This car was brought in by SSV in Oakleigh as a test car to obtain their license to import R34's under the RAWS import laws.

For those who dont understand, this basically means they had to get a A+ example (Mechanicaly and Visualy) to be able to sell R34's or else they would not pass there license test. The car was even inspected by a few RAWS officers in Camberra to make sure everything was OK.

This was a big reason why i wanted this car in particular, it couldnt be a 'dodgy' example.

It was completly standard (other than factory fitted Nismo body kit) with 60,000kms on the clock.

Modifications/Features:

- Factory fitted Xenon HID Headlights

- Factory fitted Nismo body kit

- Clear Nismo front and side blinkers

- Full Stainless Steel exhaust

- BATMBL 3" Split front/dump pipe

- 3" inch big body Catco High Flow cat

- 3" Fujitsubo Cat Back

- Blitz Front mount Intercooler (using factory intercooler pipes)

- Apexi Pod filter

- Just Jap 40mm thick radiator

- Greddy Informeter

- Pioneer Headeck

- Pioneer 6" Speakers with Splits front and back

-Serviced every 5,000kms using Motul Oil

-Full Log books since i have had the car

-Service including major service (water pump, thermostat, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs gapped at .8, belts, gearbox and diff oil etc...) and Dyno tuning performed at RACE PACE.

- Dyno tune pulled 196kw at the rear wheels (factory boost, never boosted) with dyno graphs

I have receipts to prove everything.

The only problem i had with the car was it overheated by about 5 - 10 degrees, which was due to a blocked radiator which i replaced with a thick Just Jap alloy one which has been fantastic. The car now runs consistanly at 81 degrees.

Any Inspection welcome.

All Standard parts come with the car:

Radiator, Intercooler, Blinkers, Full Exhaust, Air box with snorkel...everything.

I'll even throw in my C's short shifter which i had in for a while but took out because i didnt like the feel of the throw.

GTT - 98 Plates INCLUDED!

No silly offers, i wont even bother respoding.

Any further queries please call.

-Phil.

    • It's almost certainly a reluctor generating an "AC" waveform. No, ECUs don't generally read those - they're usually set up for PWM square wave 0-5v stuff.
    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
