NA_Goodness
Sunroof <<< There's your problem!! Have you tried looking for new seals for it? Or finding another more local car with a sunroof of equal siz/shape and getting the seal out of that? Just an idea, otherwise i wouldnt have a clue!! Nismo_Boy
You cant get just the seals. You have to buy the whole sunroof glass, hence $1500. Mine leaked too, local Nissan dealer gave me about the same quote. I sold the car... No one else would even look at it. rgr34
are the rubbers worn??? if its the factory type sunroof which slides into roof try this.... the rubbers dont seal of water. there is a trough which the water goes into and 4 drain holes in each corner which lead water to the groundthrough tubes in roof lining..... sometimes these block and make the water leak into cabin once trough is full. my r 34 had one hole blocked i got my air compresser and blew the hole open..... it had blocked up with dirt. pour some water and u can see it come out under the car.......THIS only applied to factory sunroof if it the type thats slides into roof and has a trough to collect water! dsh31k
i worked it out. i went to clark rubber and bought some 5mm rubber strip. its about 3/4inch in width and i put a strip straight across the switch end of the sunroof along the lip of the roof.. it has stopped the leak you can't see it and the sunroof works fine. cost $6.95 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/202755-leaking-r32-sunroof/#findComment-3632595 Share on other sites
