Thanks man! your a legend!

I've looked around and seen hardly any 2door R34's do they make 2doors of this model?

This changes my plans now heh, i might get one of these instead of the R33GTS

but we'll see

here ya go mate this is the cheapest i could find.

http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...amp;Make=NISSAN

$14,500....2000 model

Very nice, thanks a lot man!

I'd be looking at turbocharging it after a while (hence the other post) Any idea how much it would set me back for a mid-level turbine kit and installation? I've noticed there's not a whole lot of space in the engine bay.

just off the top of my head. a gtrs= $2000ish

manifold= 400-1000

dump pipe= 300+

ecu, injectors electrics= 1000-3000

not to mention forged pistons and rods=4000ish, or u could go the det items=1000max

you could do most of it yourself but if u want it installed looking at around 2000.

ofcourse prices will vary. i highly suggest this link it has everything u need:

got a gt25 myself. 1998 model.

great car man, you can have lots of fun with it.

unless you have license restrictions, get the gtt.

and yep turbo'ing your n/a isnt too hard. there are forums on here that will show you what you need=].

Thats good to know, thanks for your help guys! All i need to do now is to pick which one to get haha.

IF you need to go the n/a route, I'd suggest looking for a GT-X(?)

It's meant to have the turbo version goodies, like bigger brakes etc, just n/a

then when you do eventually turbo it it will be like a GT-t

P.S don't ask me any details on the car I just mentioned coz I only know about it from what I've read on this forum

lol good one yoyo.

yea mate. get used to the handling, push it to its limits. then when u are off your p's or wateva. u will know how to control the turbo'd version much better, and will be more confident because u know the limits.

only thing u have to worry about is the power when u upgrade. but keep in mind 140rwhp on a r34 na is nothing special, so when u upgrade it will be 'scary', lol enjoy it.

Hahah yeah! not a bad idea, i'll figure something out, cheers for the help mate!

    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
    • Probably. I take it that they are also mentioned to be for R34 Skyline? For example.... RDA has that part as RDA7957. I have the dimpled and slotted version of that on my car https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285518478694?srsltid=AfmBOopKxMuAFpsxZJdB1cam4D5RAj1f9yJyOttPZLAwXVNCOiwlhrIy This is DBA's top one piece equivalent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364246686631?srsltid=AfmBOorbb0XHQgqTvZLgQPhg70nqJtGvdojKnugum3O2LFSr2h-obp8D
    • Ok i will get those 310mm. I found one but on a different site. This is the description on those...is it ok? Technical parameters: - Axle: front. - Disc type: ventilated. - Number of holes: 5. - Disc diameter: 310mm. - Total height with center: 54mm. - Thickness (new/min.): 30/28mm. - Designed for brake calipers manufacturer: Sumitomo.
