For Sale: 1989 R31 Skyline S3 GX Wagon

Location: Adelaide, SA

Kilometers: 18*,***

Transmission type: 5sp manual

Engine: RB20DET

Colour: Red

Modifications: RB20DET engine conversion w/RB20 gearbox.

Window tint (20% on rears, 35% front doors), 17x8F, 17x9R Work Ryver lightweight jap rims, Lowered, Intercooler.

R32 GTR front brakes, larger rear.

Pioneer MP3 headunit, sub, amp, front splits.

Remote central locking on front doors, immobiliser, alarm, sound/microwave sensors.

Roadworthy Certificate: n/a - engine conversion and brakes are Regency Approved with paperwork.

Registered: yes.

Accident History: damage repaired on rear right 1/4 before I purchased.

Currently has carpark damage to rear left 1/4 which I will have repaired before sale.

Asking Price: $8500. $8000 without rims.

Other Comments:

Have owned for 9 months, economical (600k's to a tank open road). Stops awesome with GTR brakes. Paint has stone chips on bonnet, otherwise pretty mint. Front bar isn't the best.

Car is undefectable besides tint and ride height.

All suspension/diff/etc. undercarriage has been powdercoated black or red.

Immac. interior.

New battery

Many other extras.

Is currently my daily driver.

Pitty that's what everyone else keeps saying too.. I just need it gone so I can buy a Stagea so I'm open to offers.

Goes in to panel shop next week to get a carpark dent fixed on rear left 1/4. Sale Price still the same.

Will sell this week for $6500 with slight damage to rear left 1/4.

Car will be at the crash shop for 2 weeks.

      @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.

      I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.

      Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.

      Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
