hey just wondering if anyone could tell me a rough price for a Digital Camo spray? not that im going to do it, just opening up my options for when i eventually spray..

Digital Camo spray? Whats that? Its not the army camoflage paint that we see on a lot of cars? Thats as popular as stripped paint and a long weight... Oh and left handed screw drivers!

its camo but not whats on the other ones...its like...i dunno more sharp, would look cool, but then again, some people wont like it, but yeh, just a thought

You mean Camoflage style? You do know that you have to paint each section in different colours, right? That paint cant just be sprayed on? I dunno, camo does look cool. Dont worry what we like, we have nothing to do with your car. Go your own way, do your own thing, and those who hate it arent worth worrying about.

looks cool, squares are obviously easier to mask up ready for paint of reach colour you choose..

masking up of all areas for each colour - think there is about 4 colour shades .. plus base - lots of labour in the painting and masking on top of prep.

prob cost you up to $1K (guessing on labour rates) more than a straight colour

I would think it would be very expensive as it would be very time consuming doing the individual tape outs and colours .

I also think that the digital camo sections themself have different shading of that colour in square blocks as well so it would depend on how far you would want to go with them.

Sounds cool and different but the cost may out way the effect

Nah man, do a search on the local DA scene. i'm sure there is a camo FC RX-7 doing the rounds. a few other camo drifters hanging around, saw a cefiro the other day with camo paint. looks bloody nice! mix it up a lil, shades of red, orange and yellow maybe? the black/white'd look cool

That would look sick. I'd go urban personally. I'd say you'd have to get an airbrusher to paint it on, too intricate for most spray painters. Good look though, very unique!

haha yeh, would cost a bit too i reckon lol i want to go for something that isnt an 'everyday' theme and make it different..

That style IMO is more suited to a "drift pig 180/S13" which you thrash around sideways, definately not a Skyline in an urban environment,.. however, you are from Tasmania, so with all that natural wilderness, could be an exception.

but yeh i dont reckon the digi camo would look that great on a 33, saw a rough chop of one with it lol didnt look that good
