ok i left this morning,.. car was cold only had it runing for about 1min max so i took off nice n slow as usuall til she warms but anyways as i reversed out of the driveway i was on and off the clutch and one time when i p[ushed the clutch in (it was in reverse still) there was this noisy 'scrubbing' noise form the engine bay.. im assuming this was probably the flywheel rubbing on the clutch coz the clutch didnt disengage properly ? but im not sure.. what's the best way to tell if the stock clutch is gunna die soon and time to get a new one ?

also when i hit speed bumps, more so at higher speeds, i get this 'crunching scraping sqeuaking noise' my car aint lowered and i casn't see much hanging underneath to be scraping, could my front suspension be ****ed ?

cheers guys

My clutch does that in reverse sometimes when its really cold.

I've read a thread on here somewhere before where people said it was the thrust bearing.

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=thrust+bearing

I've been told not to worry about it as you don't have a real issue with the thrust bearing until it starts doing the same thing constantly while you're driving normally, ie going forward, or sitting at a stand still.

I'm not sure if this is true or not though!!!
