IMO say 34k for a series 2 autech stagea 260rs isnt a bad price

38k would be too much. you can get series 1's for 25-30k dependant on condition, but series 2 are MUCH rarer than series 1 Autech stagea's

But then again how many R34 GTR's do you see getting around for under 40k? not many, not many.

If I was after an Autech Id go with a S1 for 6-8k less, but each to their own. I think the black S2 looks fantastic !! Rear wing isnt to my liking (Ive got the smaller Dayz wing, tidier IMO) but again each to their own.

Would love to have a drive, and get the owner to test mine to see how the mildly worked 25 compares to the stock 26

Import it and save 10k......

i didnt want to say it  i remember them having a series 8 Rb model for 39,990 i was a bit stunned when you can get a RS model for easily under 35K thats why they have been around a long time i guess their cars are mint but no one actually knows what they are costing in japan

nice buy man enjoy the 26

as for a R34 front cut even if it say cost 12g you would get 6-8 of that back selling the RB26 and loom from it and i would certainly take the front hubs for my AWD 5 stud conversion :(

Im the other balck 260rs owner that shaun was referring too! And i have 32 GTR aswell, are you copying me? lol

The last time i stopped by synergy and had a look that series 2 didnt have 34 gtr wheels on it, had similar looking rims to gtr wheels tho?

Well I've now done about 300km's which is more than enough to get a decent feel for it and honestly - I love it! A lot nicer to drive than the R32. I do understand I could've got one cheaper but I didn't pay much over $36K in the end and I feel the car is well worth it, the R34 GTR rims and steering wheel are probably worth the difference from $34K anyway.

Anyways - hope to see you all on a cruise sometime soon. :)

Edit: GRIM R32 - you have an R32 GTR as well!!! That my friend is rather freaky!! What colour? If it's gunmetal then it's a triple snap. Hopefully see you out somewhere so I can check out your beast(s).

Hey Steve! Yeah we will have to catch up when i get it back, will take you for a spin and see what you think! Definitely got enough grunt to hold you well back into the seats, or nearly brake your neck if your sitting in the back due to the lack of higher head rests...lol. :)

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
