Gt35/40

Just scored myself a GT35/40 from a XR6 turbo, was wanting to know if anyone knows what sort of modes needed to fit it to my R33, has a RB25DEt. I already have front mount, 3" exhaust, new Splitfire coilpacks and a Haltech computer, putting out 200kw ATW. What sort of power does anyone think i'll get with the new turbo, also plan to get new injectors, regulator and fuel pump.

yea i was thinkin of gettin one but i heard they dont hit boost till about 3200-3500rpm that a long time to spool but wen they do hit boost u better a hang on so iv been told

Yeah have herd that they are pretty laggy. Was considering cahnging the exhaust housing to a smaller one, anyone know of a place that does this? Or otherwise selling this turbo and finding a turbo that won't have as much lag. Got it pretty cheap through a mate that works at a Ford dealership. How much power can the standard bottom end take? Had 240kw ATW, but the turbo started to show signs of dying. So detuned it a bit till i get my new setup up and going. How much would a rebuild cost? Want it to be able to cope with 300kw+ ATW, daily driver (well on my week off).

well if u can get ur hand on any cheap 35/40 turbos pm me there about 2-2 and a half grand brand new so it be god to get one cheap
