Comments / Modifications:

I have owned and loved this car almost 3 years. It has been phenomenal, not one problem since I've had it, puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it. The KMs are due to my daily M7 / M2 highway travels to and from work. P-Plater friendly. I have never used any fuel other than 98 Octane, and every 3 - 4 refuels I empty a bottle of Octane Boost + Injector cleaner into it. :) Log books until about 168,000km, then I've changed oil every 5000km ever since using either Motul or Mobil 1. EXTREMELY ECONOMICAL.

Exterior:

Brand new Buddy Club front bar and rear panal, and re-glossed carbon-fibre bonnet done 08/03/08

JUST had its major service 5000km ago and replaced coolant pump

Stock 119kw B16A engine

K&N Filter Pod

Red Civic Type-R engine cover

Cusco Strut Bar

Fully adjustable HSD coilover suspension

Tyres nearly 3 months old - Potenza RE001's, tread almost new

SSA "15 dark gold rims (Rays volk CE28 copies)

Carbon Fibre Bonnet

Full Buddy Club body kit

Cat-back exhaust - stock headers (love the exhaust note)

Fully Electric Sunroof

Philips CrystalVision 4300K Headlights

Interior:

Bride BRIX II reclining Bucket seat

Aftermarket Pioneer CD player/Fusion 6x9s, no subs or amps

Type-R Gear Knob

Mugen Short Shifter (gearbox in mint condition, absolutely no issues shifting)

Fully electric Sunroof

Aircon works perfect

Keyless Entry, power everything

Alarm / Immobilizer

Issues:

Scratch on rear bar, hard to notice

2 small dents in driver's side door

This VTi-R handles and corners superb, very fun, good for track use though I haven't had a chance or money to take it there. The engine feels great healthy and revs very smoothly.

Ideal for any Honda / Civic / Vtec enthusiasts who can really appreciate this car.

Reason for sale,

#1 Pay off debt

#2 try out other cars as I'm an enthusiast, move on

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
