haha sorry mate  you can buy mine to make it easier to sell yours if you think its flooding the market? :bunny: i hope i don't have any worries selling it, im not expecting a quick sale either but it would be nice to get the ball rolling on the 260..

thats crazy, all that work

good luck with the sale tho !!!!

(Id be rebuilding the engine if you really want high power action)

couldnt imagine selling mine, and its nothing to look at in all honesty, not like yours.

After all that effort.... Someone will be a VERY happy new owner. Same for Darrin's.

Me... I'd convert to RWD and try to squeeze one of those Infinity 4.5l V8s under the bonnet, then supercharge it: a kidney would almost pay for that...

Good luck with the sale Brycey: looking forward to seeing more '26 powered Stagea's (Stageii?) around...

alot of work has gone into the car and the final product shows it :) but im really after something with a factory body, factory manual, boring colour and plenty of potential under the hood :) i did consider keeping the car, converting it to manual, major engine mods etc etc but the costs would blow out way too far and it would never be the same as a factory 5 speed.. id prefer to sell the car while its perfectly straight, tidy and looking/running good, plus its in a situation where its mechanically A1 with mild mods done, so its a perfect base for anyone to do further mods or keep it for another 500,000 k's ;) but i do hope that it sells to a set of good hands..

its funny that so many stagea's have been places on the market at the moment, its defiantly not that they are a bad car (quite the opposite in my case  very pumped for a 260) but i guess it must be the time of year :P where theres a seller theres a buyer and where theres a buyer theres a seller!

im going to put the car onto carsales tonight, cross my fingers and sit on it for a while..

cheers guys :)

Boo you suck! If you still have it for Auto Salon, ENTER IT!

You can advertise it there and some massive drug dealer will love the power, front end, and ability to carry kilos upon kilos of cocaine anywhere he needs :)

hahahhaha well in that case i'll ask no questions and get no answers!

i was going to enter autosalon with the SAU group but with the cutoff being april 4th and the period between now and the show it could be sold :) or atleast i hope it will be!

DAMN! All the 34 fronts are going! I need to sell mine so I can buy one! Damn damn damn.

But best of luck with the sale Brycey, I've envied your car since you got it, and most probably will well after its gone ;)

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
