R33 Hard To Start

HI lately my r33 gts-t has been hard to start cold.

i turn the key it cranks kicks a few times and then dies.

to get it to start i have to crank it and give it heavy throttle and i can hear a lot of poping in the exahust as it jumps up and down from 200RPM to 600RPM for 2 or 3 seconds and finally the reves come up and it idels and drives fine.

please help!

if there is definately fuel, then its probably spark plugs or coil packs.

are you waiting a few seconds before turning the key all the way to allow your fuel pump to prime ?

i doubt that it is cos it has splitfire coilpacks and iridum plugs
