Whenever playing this game aftermaybe 20-30 minutes it will freeze up I'll leave it for about 10 minutes and I can play for a bout 1 minute then I get screen saying "loading..." and nothing happens from there have to restart the PS2 to resume playing it again..issue with the game or the PS2..no other games do this

No sorry no clue.... but i think that game is the bomb!!! gets boring after u all the mission... i got extremly rich off of vigilante missions tohuhg

is your game burnt or is it original.

if you have it on a dvdr not a cdr you shouldnt have much problems with the game, unless the original was crap. if your game is original then it is most likely to be you ps2 thats coursing you trouble.

Yeh its the Original Game..but I thought it would do it to more than one game and not just this one

laser for the PS2 is weak then I guess..how old is your PS2?

Problems like these happens when a game is burnt with a crap dvdr or cdr or if you burt it really fast and the PS2 can't read it properly, but it still plays but freezes after around 1hr or so. Usually these dvdrs/cdrs ruin your PS2 as well, putting stress on your PS2 and weakening your laser.

did u try bringing your game to a friends house and seeing if the cd works there?(meaning its your cd's fault) or maybe u can borrow someone elses GTA3 and see if the same effect happens with his cd which will mean its ur PS2's problem

Yeh im hoping its the CD and not the PS2 its only about a year old if that. Watched DVD's on it last night and they played fine so not sure will borrow my mates if he lets me and see how that goes..

if you lend games to friends and there playstations having problems with the laser. it isn't good for your cd and can cause it to freeze just that perticular game. if its that i would stop playing it because it can damage your lense.

well I just bought the game, and it started doing that I havent lent it to anyone, I actually palyed it the other day for a few hours and nothing happened.. the nlater that night started playing it again and 15 minutes into the game it started freezing..

I have the same problems but only with that game it only seems to happen to me when i use tons of cheats im playin it without cheats and so far no problems

i'd say ps2 is the problem it was working before am i right to say,but i have problems like this with games but mine are like new new condition,and i hardly use my ps2 now,(thanx to this computer)so yeah be careful your laser might be on it s way out..
