VLC Player

The only video player you will ever need. i havent found anything this doesnt play. even plays iso's directly.

windows media player sucks balls. Always needs codecs and never finds them.

Like other have said, VLC is one of the best (& easiest) player to setup (well just DL & install, no setup needed). Since it has most of the codecs built in, it plays most of the file formats out there.

The other player I like is media player classic, with the right codecs I prefer it over VLC, main thing is that when you get the Real media codec (Real player is a pos) it comes with MPC.

Yep i use VLC for most of the stuff i watch in .avi, i use GOM player for all the high def videos i watch.
