Hey all you aussies. I must say, I miss Australia alot after being

back home in Sweden since the start of june...

Anyway, I'm not complaining - I've been busy filming streetracing,

carshows and cruises around Stockholm. Speaking of which, if you've

heard of Getaway in Stockholm. There's a No 4 in the making.... :(

So, if you wanna see (among others) ~900 horsepower V8 cars

battle it out on the streets of central Stockholm...

...www.mull.tk is the place to be.

Take care!

(all movies are DivX5 by the way...)

What do you need english for?

There are 6 click-able images - all leading to .avi files...

What's left to figure out? Besides that the 6th image

that says "Gästbok/Guestbook" leads to the Guestbook :D

Anyway - here are some translations for the needy ;P

Illegal Streetracing in the outskirts of Stockholm.

A custom Porsche with 500+ HP and a 600-1000HP Supra

among others race at this event. Worth noting is that the

Supra wasn't running racefuel, and worn 225's.

This movie depicts the process of about a thousand or more

cars cruising in and through central stockholm. Causing major

trafficdisturbance and a lot of nice burnouts on the streets of

central stockholm. This was a protest for not letting "us" race

one of the few legal races - Blackrace. Politics pulled the cert.

and people got pissed.

Birka Cup #3. Birka Cup is a illegal streetracing tournament

which consists of 5 races. This is race 3. Race 1 & 2, I was

unable to film, as I was cruising around your lovely country =)

This film features among others, a Volvo PV with 800+ HP and

250 HP NOS, a 66' Blower, a 57' Chevy and a ~700 HP LeMans.

This is illegal streetracing in central parts of Stockholm at its best.

Race #4 video is upcoming. And the #5 race is coming...

This is my first dragstrip footage, ever. This strip is now closed

down due to politics wiping their asses with it. Its to be issued to

reopen, hopefully. Tullinge dragstrip is one of the reasons there

was a large protest cruise through Stockholm (see above).

Just a big gathering of nice cars, my first movie to be released.

Fast cars and furious Sound... A seemingly large car exibition.

Wasn't as big as it seems in the movie, but I enjoyed it. Hope

you will too.

That's it. Now get cracking and DOWNLOAD 'em! Oh, and plz leave

something that resembles a note in my GUESTBOOK!

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey hey hey...

BIRKA #4 is OUT. Get it NOW at http://www.mull.tk =)

I'll be watching my stats for aussie hits ;)

#5 (finals) is in editing stage, and man, have I got some

sweet stuff to add to it... whoah, the asses... uh, I mean

Cars in that... jeez :)

Also, check this image... Getaway in stockholm 4 is COMING!

Oh, and... see the flashing blue lights? ;)

heya Mull, fantastic videos

I have started to mirror them here in Australia on my own webserver as I found the speeds were a bit slow so I thought i could offer them to people locally at a faster rate. If there is a problem with this feel free to say so, otherwise, fantastic videos love that stuff. :)

No problem at all, I just want people to enjoy them :P

I noted some vids are missing in your mirror though ;)

If you haven't seen the one from the exibition Fast Cars & Furious Sound

that's the one that kind of started it all. The MDS one was #1, but

I got hooked after the FcFs one ;)

Glad you like em :)

Just for the record - the word Birka (as in Birka cup) is a a place in

sweden where vikings used to have one of their larger communities.

Thus the viking helmet in the Birka logo. Well, that's the knowledge

of today... off you go :O

Oh, and if you're wondering why there's only 2 races in the #4

Birka video, that's because the cops were really out to get people

that night... so a lot of the racers had to leave walk overs and

stuff like that. You have to run the individual races within one

hour and report in, and the different judges have to report in

as well and yadda yadda yadda... :)

No all the races are run on the same spot at once either so...

I don't have enough cameras ;)

Thanks :P

Btw, the Supra in the beginning of the Birka #4 video is the one

with the 1000+ hp... I think he said that at 2.2 bar they get about

1110 hp-ish... Which is a shitload of hp :O

Oh, and that's without running NOS....

And the BMW (43 seconds into the movie) runs QM-runs @ 9.6x

Pretty fast... :)

More info, the Volvo (Grey one, racing with the sucky start) it ran

a high 9 on its first ever run @ Mantorp dragstrip...

ah k, is the silvier volvo the arch rival of the red volvo 242 sedan that is at city race regularly killing other cars(like black supra from GIS2)?

are there moer cityrace videos online? i have been too a few sites(cityrace.nu) but they dont have much media online if they even have any most times

    • This. As for your options - I suggest remote mounting the Nissan sensor further away on a length of steel tube. That tube to have a loop in it to handle vibration, etc etc. You will need to either put a tee and a bleed fitting near the sensor, or crack the fitting at the sensor to bleed it full of oil when you first set it up, otherwise you won't get the line filled. But this is a small problem. Just needs enough access to get it done.
    • The time is always correct. Only the date is wrong. It currently thinks it is January 19. Tomorrow it will say it is January 20. The date and time are ( should be ! ) retrieved from the GPS navigation system.
    • Buy yourself a set of easy outs. See if they will get a good bite in and unthread it.   Very very lucky the whole sender didn't let go while on the track and cost you a motor!
    • Well GTSBoy, prepare yourself further. I did a track day with 1/2 a day prep on Friday, inpromptu. The good news is that I got home, and didn't drive the car into a wall. Everything seemed mostly okay. The car was even a little faster than it was last time. I also got to get some good datalog data too. I also noticed a tiny bit of knock which was (luckily?) recorded. All I know is the knock sensors got recalibrated.... and are notorious for false knock. So I don't know if they are too sensitive, not sensitive enough... or some other third option. But I reduced timing anyway. It wasn't every pull through the session either. Think along the lines of -1 degree of timing for say, three instances while at the top of 4th in a 20 minute all-hot-lap session. Unfortunately at the end of session 2... I noticed a little oil. I borrowed some jack stands and a jack and took a look under there, but as is often the case, messing around with it kinda half cleaned it up, it was not conclusive where it was coming from. I decided to give it another go and see how it was. The amount of oil was maybe one/two small drops. I did another 20 minute session and car went well, and I was just starting to get into it and not be terrified of driving on track. I pulled over and checked in the pits and saw this: This is where I called it, packed up and went home as I live ~20 min from the track with a VERY VERY CLOSE EYE on Oil Pressure on the way home. The volume wasn't much but you never know. I checked it today when I had my own space/tools/time to find out what was going on, wanted to clean it up, run the car and see if any of the fittings from around the oil filter were causing it. I have like.. 5 fittings there, so I suspected one was (hopefully?) the culprit. It became immediately apparent as soon as I looked around more closely. 795d266d-a034-4b8c-89c9-d83860f5d00a.mp4       This is the R34 GTT oil sender connected via an adapter to an oil cooler block I have installed which runs AN lines to my cooler (and back). There's also an oil temp sensor on top.  Just after that video, I attempted to unthread the sensor to see if it's loose/worn and it disintegrated in my hand. So yes. I am glad I noticed that oil because it would appear that complete and utter catastrophic engine failure was about 1 second of engine runtime away. I did try to drill the fitting out, and only succeeded in drilling the middle hole much larger and now there's a... smooth hole in there with what looks like a damn sleeve still incredibly tight in there. Not really sure how to proceed from here. My options: 1) Find someone who can remove the stuck fitting, and use a steel adapter so it won't fatigue? (Female BSPT for the R34 sender to 1/8NPT male - HARD to find). IF it isn't possible to remove - Buy a new block ($320) and have someone tap a new 1/8NPT in the top of it ($????) and hope the steel adapter works better. 2) Buy a new block and give up on the OEM pressure sender for the dash entirely, and use the supplied 1/8 NPT for the oil temp sender. Having the oil pressure read 0 in the dash with the warning lamp will give me a lot of anxiety driving around. I do have the actual GM sensor/sender working, but it needs OBD2 as a gauge. If I'm datalogging I don't actually have a readout of what the gauge is currently displaying. 3) Other? Find a new location for the OEM sender? Though I don't know of anywhere that will work. I also don't know if a steel adapter is actually functionally smart here. It's clearly leveraged itself through vibration of the motor and snapped in half. This doesn't seem like a setup a smart person would replicate given the weight of the OEM sender. Still pretty happy being lucky for once and seeing this at the absolute last moment before bye bye motor in a big way, even if an adapter is apparently 6 weeks+ delivery and I have no way to free the current stuck/potentially destroyed threads in the current oil block.
