R32 Front Hub Grease Hole

i recently bought r32 turbo hubs to put in my r32 non turbo

now the new hub on the right hand front side has an open grease hole (look at pic)

anyone know y its open to the air?

looks like a sensor goes in it, but my non turbo hubs dont have the sensor

it may be something to do with abs as my car doesnt have it.

anyone shed any light?

oh and yes i did cut the brake dust shields off the hubs
