Changing An Internal Wastegate Turbo

hey guys just wanna know whats gotta be done to make an internally wastegated turbo to an external wastegate

sorry if im not making sense it will be used on my track car and would basiclly like to external gate an R33 turbo if its

is possible

You need to blank off the internal gate.

Then install the external to either the manifold or the turbine housing.

Either way, for a R33 turbo... lots of cost for absolutely no gain considering they also have a ceramic wheel etc etc

the r33 turbo was just a suggestion but yeh same thing goes with other internally gated turbos i guess
