Short story...

Went up to Mt Baw Baw, car was good and really fast on boost, heaps of grip but still slides nicely. Got to the top and ba bow! Split a heater hose and dumped all the fluid in the car park :P

Spent and hr trying to fix it with the ski teams tools and garage but no deal, so RACV Total Care to the rescue, got home at midnight

Anyone know where I can get a heater hose kit OTHER THAN Nissan? They say only comes from Japan and looking at $200 for 3 hoses!

Thats ma girl!!!

Hahaha fkn thing!

Ask Just Jap to get some in. They do a whole GTR engine set for $300, so surely they must have a contact for an RB20 one?

JK

i mite have some off the r32. bring the broken hoses on sat and u can match em up with wats there

i thought Mt Baw Baw roads are too tight for any slip?

Ah cool...I'll pull it off and see what we can do.

Most of it is tight but there are a lot of good corners for sliding, although with so much lag I could only do a few open ones (and the surface there is mostly crap)

dang... chaser or mark II?

Chaser....hope he got it out ok :S

It was resting up against a tree and looked like roof damage but have to wait and see how it pans out. Made me appreciate my 10k Nissan. If I crash.....RESHELL :)

So it was recommended to me that to rekindle my love for the Cefiro I should give it a wash and polish (for the first time in a year of owning it).

Utilising my day off work for Uni exam study, I went and polished it up...bit of a difference hahaha! You may notice something missing in these pics...A FKN REAR BUMPER :P

Surprise! Swapped the Rega's for a set of Work Kai's (17 x 9 +17 all round) and lowered the car onto them.

Also discovered a lot of oil in the turbo intake coming from the catch can so that will be the next job, re-route that shit!

    • There’s a possibility that Infinity G35x front hubs may be compatible, but it depends on the exact fitment. Sometimes, parts like hub and bearing assemblies from different models can work if the bolt patterns, bearing sizes, and axle specifications match, but the G35x hubs typically have a different design. It's worth checking detailed specs (like the number of bolt holes, size of the axle shaft, and bearing diameter) to compare, as Rock Auto does list some parts that cross over across different models. If you're going for a pre-pressed hub and bearing unit, that could be a good option. These units are usually easier to install, as the bearing and hub come pre-assembled, but you’ll still need to verify fitment, especially the outer diameter of the hub and bearing dimensions.
