hey guys whats the best auto transmission shop around dandenong area

ive serviced my trans myself i.e filter and fluid etc.

but i understand there is more to that than a trans service including retentioning bands or something...

obviously dont want to be charged an arm and leg aswell....

if you guys have some shops you can refer please give their shop name and phone number thanx

hey man .. cbf looking at those threads ... but im in keysy ... wondering when u go into a workshop ... come back here and rate it ... i have a stagea s2 auto .... and down the track might need a shift kit installed ... so want a good joint refered cheers buddy

nps. in regards to the valve body mod. i got mine from mv automatics in adelaide. theres guys were my fav as the shift kit works with the throttle. the harder the throttle the harder the shift. nice soft throttle and it will still change with a nice soft comfortable shift....

i opted for this rather than keas etc as there kits no matter how soft or hard the throttle is pushed you will still get a really hard shift...

yeah in every HPI or ZOOM or FAST FOURS mag ... MV auto is always mentioned as the blokes to see ... well hey .... looks like i have a road trip ahead of me

no need for a road trip man. they post the kit to you, u install, and post your old valvebody back to them

yup pretty straight forward man, i did mine myself. just make sure you do it on a hoist

im sure some guys have done it from here, and there would be exact info on whats involved for yours....

I use one of the MV kits in my 33.

But if you would like a drive in drive out optoin, head down to Knox Autos, they use keez shift kits, $400 drive away with a service. My mate just had his done there and his drives the same as mine, and they are realy helpful people.
