Buyer Beware.

This is how my injectors rocked up. All 6 totalled due to awful packing. Before people go on about it being Aus post's fault how would you expect six injectors floating around with no padding in a plastic lunchbox to arrive.post-32162-1221873253_thumb.jpg

Guys this guy is a joke he asks me to send injectors I package them in a CONTAINER with BUBBLE wrap both around injectors and around container I put into a express post satchel as I'm requested by buyer then send. They then arrive and it looks like someone has stood on item.He has demanded return of money and I have told him to take it up with AUS post.As much as I feel SORRY for the guy I believe it is outrageous that he can come on here and do this when it is CLEARLY AUS posts fault.

Bubble wrap hey... where exactly? There's not one shred of bubble wrap in the package I opened yesterday. That picture shows exactly how the injectors arrived.

Don't talk crap they had little BUBBLE wrap sleeves around them and wrap around container,ONCE again I cannot be blamed for AUS post.I don't think there is someone on this forum who has not had a problem with AUS post, thats why they have insurance.I feel bad for you man but as I said take it up with AUS post.Just lastley MODS I think it is very POOR of someone to try to wreck ones sale thread thru no fault of there own.So I think he would be better of taking his understandable displeasure up with the ones to blame AUS post and not trashing a honest guy who did all I could

Cheers

Here's a photo of all the packaging including the free floating lunchbox you sent the injectors in.

I must say you have awesome dispute resolution too. Call me a tosser and make up imaginary bubble wrap. Can you tell me where the bubble wrap is in this photo? Or are you mistaking the brown PAPER wrapped around the outside of your lunchbox?

I post in this thread simply as a warning of my experience with this seller.

For the record I have taken these to Australia Post. They have a clause about packing things securely apparently.

As to you being honest. I can post all my correspondence from you up til now. The bubble wrap was only invented in the last 3 or 4 emails.

Regards,

Javan

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
