its a std 12v unit with a map sensor and solenoid

there is nothing car specific so adapting it into an xr6 should be as simple as sourcing 12v and ground

from anywhere and then installing the map sensor and solenoid using the avcr wiring loom

Where I work we have AVCR's in our twin turbo LS1 drag car and also in a customers twin turbo BA GT

Find your 12v and ground(should be easy find on Ford forums) then follow the diagrams posted above

The standard boost controller will work much better than an AVCR anyways. Besides the fact that the boost cut is set about 2psi above 4-5psi of desired boost that they run standard so your better off just getting a reflash!!!
