just upgraded my stereo and after having one flat battery, decided itd be a good idea to get a volt guage to tell me how much juice i have left in my battery before im stuck somewhere with a flat :D

do they just connect straight up to the positive and negative of the battery terminals? is there a more closely located fuse/outlet that it could be hooked onto instead? car is a R33 so battery is in the boot...

cheers

The volt gauge is the simplest of them all to install. You simply tap the wire from the gauge to a wire that carries system voltage and the other to ground. Nothing fancy there.

P.S Being a R33 i wouldnt know which positive would be the best to use.
