Hahaha... what did he end up getting defected for ages ago? Was it just the gauges?! I told him he'd get done for them and he's like "nah.... I'm a lucky guy!" haha

haha he is very lucky, if you only knew what some things he got away with!

but he got done for his BOV. went around a roundabout and floored it through and didnt notice the cops at the mobile. they chased him down and asked if his cut airbox was his bov haha.

went through willunga inspection and got done for too loud and was told to remove the gauges aswell but was let off with so much! he is very lucky!! of course all the bits are back on aswell as more stuff haha!

+1 for Mark at ET. Top bloke, does excellent work. Couldn't be happier with my twin JunBL spiral mufflers and resonator.

May I ask how much that set you back? I'll be going to ET within the next month or 2 to finally get my exhaust done!

i dare say price isnt relevant as Mark knows Kellie very well. Best to ring him tomorrow and inquire.

Price isnt relevant because he does a good job. I went there twice, firstly to get my pre-bought mufflers fitted and then secondly to get the resonator fitted and the angle of the zorst modified... both times he did me a nice deal (I'm not going to state here for obvious reasons, but I walked away both times happy with the amount he'd paid me versus the time it took him to do the job),

And I'll be going back to get a new cat, dumps and possible a mid mounted barrel muffler to make it even quieter

anyo seen scotts?? HVN032?

3inch mild steel from turbo back, hiflow cat, 5inch cannon.... very straight free flowing... nice deep note on idle then opens up under full load!!!

AUSSIE DYNO FTW!

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
