noddle
How's the tuning going Nigel?Has it made much of a difference to the car? Hi Andrew, Since the motor is still dead stock, the only difference I have noticed, is that it has just a little more torque, the reason I know this is that were I like there is a hill, that when I drive up it in 4th at 60ks, about 2/3 the way up it, I need to go back to 3rd, or it drops back to 50ks, but with MS It sits at 60 all the way, I know, not a lot better for the expense. But When I bolt on my turbo (the reason I brought MS), I will be able to keep the AFR where it needs to be, and not lean out. http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html But my next step is to install EDIS, so I can control spark (my dissy's vacuum advanced is stuffed) http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html Still have lots of little projects on the go. 240k convertible
Are you going to use a intercooler with the turbo? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239767-megasquirt-ii-v3-and-my-240k/#findComment-4205288 Share on other sites
noddle
Are you going to use a intercooler with the turbo? Not to start with, but once I get things running I will. start small, then bolt on the bits Nigel Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239767-megasquirt-ii-v3-and-my-240k/#findComment-4206061 Share on other sites

noddle
Finally, I have EDIS running with Megasquirt, in the end it was fairly easy to setup, just some nerves, (not wanting to fry my Megasquirt, you just need to follow the directions, and check what you have done for mistakes) more pics here http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html Nigel Edited December 29, 2008 by noddle Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239767-megasquirt-ii-v3-and-my-240k/#findComment-4339245 Share on other sites
omygod
Im running MSII with EDIS wasted spark setup myself. I ordered the board from the US and sourced the parts here... Found an aussie mob that sells the "hard to find" components... http://pjoz.com/electronics.htm#msquirt Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239767-megasquirt-ii-v3-and-my-240k/#findComment-5084088 Share on other sites
