Unplugged box on parcel shelf!

Gday,

Having a few dramas with the skyline atm, fixing wires and stuff but today i found an unplugged box sitting on the rear parcel shelf of the skyline.

Its a little grey box that sits on the drivers side of the parcel shelf, adjacent to the right speaker. Does anyone know what this box is for??????? should i have left it unplugged? i was thinking it might be hicas related????

Yes i believe it would be the hicas computer.

Why would somebody do this redline, the car is still in bits in the garage so i havent driven it yet, for drift purposes, or do you think the hicas may be knackered?

Not sure...check the rear under the car where the diff is...sometimes they replace the hicas system..with a special bar..to help with stabiliy on the rear end..since hicas is no drifters friend since its sometimes hard to predict what it does sometimes. Cant really shead to much light on the topic.

the HICAS computer is under the car at the rear, u cant miss it..

look for a little black box with 3 or was it 4 wires attached to it..if u unplug these, it disables HICAS

though i wouldnt recommend it
