Tonight, i was pulled up by police in front of a police station where they were conducting RBT tests as far as i could see. The police man asked me if i had anything to drink, i said 'no not at all' because that was the truth, he then asked 'do you have your licence there?' i said yes and handed it over.

He handed it back, and then i sat there, waiting for the RBT. After nothing happened for a few secs, i asked, is that it? He said yes you can go. So i left.

My point is, i dont think the police are doing their jobs properly! Have other people been pulled over for RBT and not tested like me??

Even when i was caught speeding about 2 months ago, they wrote me the ticket, but did not even bother to breathalyse me. What if someone was drunk and speeding? They wouldnt stop them!

Ive brought this up cuz its the second time, and i think its really stupid of the police.

Plus when i was pulled up tonight, another officer was looking over my car and writing down stuff, i dont know what for...but that was worrying....

Hmmm.. I don't think the cop did anything wrong. In fact I would have driven away thinking "What a good cop"..

You see.. in the USA they are not allowed to breathlise you unless they have reason to suspect your drunk. Hence the 'walk the line please sir' test.

RBT's in our country employ the guilty until proven innocent concept which is total bullsh*t!!!

That cop was a good guy.. he believed you.

first thing about a some (not all) drink drivers, you would probaly smell the alcohol almost straight away. You would behave differently as well.

Im sure the officer was been lazy, and was filtering out the likey drink drivers.

But i also rekon they were not interested in breather-lising you, they should be checking as many people as possible, drink driving is stupid.

I want to know more about the oficer writing stuff down...

i have been RBT'd a fiew times, one of them in castle hill the oficer walked all around my car with a notepad and was writing shit down... i have no idea what for but when i drove of my BOV went off (pretty loud) and they didn't do anything!

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
