hire cars are awesome

I'm in townsville, and now there is a fair few skylines getting around

about 3 or 4 r32's, and at last count around 12 r33's

GTR13, luv ya car, i wave to it everytime i drive past (while drooling)

I originally hail from Kuranda, at the top of the range above Cairns. I got my 'line about 3 months before I moved to the sunny coast about 2 years ago and they were rare as then. There were less than 10 in Cairns. I had such a ball driving the Kuranda range everyday for work. My dad bought a 2-door STi for the same reason. I used to go sub 5-minute top-bottom or bottom-top. Going up was always the most fun. Overtaking drift style in 3rd gear sticks in my mind! I am going back next winter for an extended holiday so I am trying to get my cat up there as well to have another crack at those twisties

I drive through the gillies atleast once a week when i go into cairns for the weekend as there is fark all to do near where i am in Atherton.

hehe, that sounds alike a blast (going up and down the kuranda range)

i must have done that trip about a gazillion times in my old girls corolla (it took us about half an hour )

would love to take my skyilne up there and have another crack at it!

Yeah, more fun than the gillies. Has less corners and is faster. Port road is sweet as is the rex range too. Going up in the old man's STi was ballistic! That thing is like a go-kart. He regularly eats road bikes up. An R34 GTR is next for him I wonder if that will be quicker again

i saw one in the woolworths carpark in atherton today!!
