It would be a perfect opportunity to pull over a bikie on his Harley, so I don't know why they would turn a blind eye. Makes it easier to target members of bike gangs for something. You know the old pull the suspected murderer over for jaywalking because we have nothing else on him routine or for an example even closer to home pull a skyline over for being too low or for having wheels that are 'too big' so that they can get a look under the hood.

Rumour and speculation had led me to believe that Harley's and certain touring bikes had a factory exemption for the 90dB noise limit. Disclaimer: I could be wrong!

You may have already seen these videos but here is the crash test for the Chinese-built Brilliance BS6. These totally 'BS' cars are already on sale in Europe.

A reviewer on the autoblog website stated that "The BS6, as currently constructed, appears to a complete piece of crap." You can read the review at http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/22/brillia...s-anything-but/.

The same review also contains a link to the crash test of a Chinese SUV and the reviewer notes, "Jiangling Motors' Landwind SUV failed the same test in even more spectacular fashion in late 2005 (listen to the ADAC guys crack up after they see the Landwind result".

As for the BS6, things don't get better on the inside. Autoexpress' review found that, 'the dashboard features mismatched fake wood trim, beige leather and a shiny silver stereo. In all, it's as though you've taken a step back in time when you sit behind the wheel, ending up somewhere in the late Eighties.' (LOL)
